It seems the comedy film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Vala Video, starring Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri, has sparked controversy due to alleged content similarities with Stree 2, which also features Rao along with Shraddha Kapoor. Though Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Vala Video is set in the 90s and intended to be a clean, entertaining comedy, it faced criticism and trolling from audiences for seemingly borrowing ideas or elements from the popular horror-comedy Stree 2.

Filmmaker Raaj Shaandilyaa, associated with Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Vala Video, responded to the backlash by issuing a public apology via social media. The apology seems to be an effort to address the concerns of viewers and critics, acknowledging any unintentional overlap between the films. While Stree 2 is celebrated for its unique blend of horror and humor, the similarities may have caused fans of both films to react strongly, leading to this situation.
